Energy Taskforce

Goal / Description:

The GOP Congress has aggressively blocked efforts to develop national energy concerns and establish a national energy policy. In the face of a serious energy crisis in Western States and the threat that it could spread across the nation, the Democratic Caucus has formed the Energy Task Force, which is dedicated to:

• Passing a comprehensive national energy policy to take the United States into the 21st Century
• Educating Members on the varied sources of energy supply, production and distribution
• Supporting legislation that encourages responsible energy development and use
